SpringHill Suites by Marriott Frederick

I stayed for 3 nights here. The room was nice, I really liked the set up with the couch, and bathroom and shower was nice. The bed was very hard/firm. The room had a cute desk area too, so it would be a good hotel room if you’re coming for work. There was a fridge (no freezer) and microwave the room, and of course a mini coffee maker. My room wasn’t attended after the first night but was after the second. Breakfast switched between 2 different choices - scrambled eggs one morning, mini omelets the next. And of course a meat option. Oatmeal and other offerings too, always had fruit available. I did have some issues with my room card not immediately working every time (which was also needed to get in from outside and to go up the elevator? kind of a pain with the elevator but whatever). AC did its job. The hotel is right next to a sheetz gas station which is convenient. Overall would stay again and would recommend.

It was my first time at this establishment. I was there on business, so I only used the business suite, not room. They had full breakfast: eggs, sausage, waffles, bananas, apples, cereal, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, orange juice, apple juice, cranberry juice! Now that's more than enough to fill you up!

I have to say this Hotel exceeded expectations....it looks EXACTLY like the online photos! Spotlessly clean and large and modern. My only complaints are the lighting is NOT bright enough for reading and the sofa is not comfortable for reading either. I wanted a bathtub and hot breakfast and got both.

We had an all around great experience here. The staff was very helpful and the large lobby area gave us room to gather and just hang out. The included breakfast (nothing is free!) was as you would expect at a lower-end Marriott, which is to say it was a good selection and all of it was fresh and tasty. The firepit out front was blazing and was surrounded with our friends when we arrived (for a wedding weekend) and we lucked out with a mild evening. Check out the rooftop bar! Heaters were strategically placed for those who got cold easily. The view was quite relaxing. The gym was just right for me, but a bit small. Treads, bikes, dumbbells and kettlebells!

I wanted a local hotel to indulge my need for a bathtub, LOL! A girl needs her bubble baths!! This was unexpectedly stunning: modern, spotless, roomy and Pandora for me on the TV. Sadly the toilet wouldn't flush so I switched rooms and lost the tub :( Breakfast was a nice display but all needed to be hotter and cinnamon on the buffet for oatmeal please? Well.worth the time and price.

Location great. Easy access to major highways, shopping, eateries, business parks. Service is very good. Nice hot breakfast; very strong coffee. Cook your own mini waffles, hot prepared oatmeal with many add-in choices. Multiple hot sauce choices including gochujang! Rooms spacious. Beds comfortable. West Elm sofa! Very kid friendly with small swim pool, outdoor seating area, low seating at breakfast area.

First night was great because it felt quiet. Second night groups of people gathered outside by the outside ground floor (we were in 513) and they were so loud. The person working at the desk said they’d help, but maybe didn’t listen or group didn’t care. I went downstairs myself and asked and the group confirmed they weren’t staying there and eventually left after I went down at 4am. So I question the location if it’s near spots where random people can come and hang out and party.

I just wanted to share my experience that I had a few months ago with the Springhill Suites in Frederick. I was in charge of my 60th. High School reunion and I needed a host hotel in the Frederick area as the function was going to be at Ceresville Mansion. We were planning a Friday night mixer at the hotel and we also needed a block of approximately 50 rooms for our out on towners. I must say the staff at this hotel went above and beyond to satisfy our needs for the weekend. We had our mixer on the rooftop and everything was outstanding. They brought in an extra bartender and the "Old Folks" had a great time. The rooms were excellent and I must thank Christian and Jonathan for their professionalism in handling our large group.
